1. HubSpot: best free CRM with AI
Why it stands out. HubSpot’s free CRM has no expiration date and covers up to two users and 1,000 contacts. It includes contact management, deal pipelines, a reporting dashboard, and Breeze Assistant, HubSpot’s AI assistant that researches companies, preps for sales calls, and summarizes CRM records. The free tools also include an AI email writer. For paid plan prices, see HubSpot’s pricing page. Its Professional plan adds an AI customer agent.
Watch out. HubSpot’s product page doesn’t say how its paid plans are billed, so check HubSpot’s pricing page before you upgrade. The free plan’s limits (two users, 1,000 contacts) are tight for growing teams.
2. Pipedrive: best for sales pipelines
Why it stands out. Pipedrive keeps leads, deals, and contacts in one visual pipeline. Even the Lite plan (US$14 per seat a month, billed annually) includes AI-powered report creation from a text prompt and Pipedrive Nova, which gives you a brief before meetings, a call transcript, and CRM updates to approve afterward. Premium (US$59 billed annually) adds AI tools that write, summarize, and reply to emails. There’s a 14-day free trial with no card.
Watch out. There’s no free plan. Email sync and automations start on Growth (US$39 billed annually), and add-ons like LeadBooster cost extra.
3. Zoho CRM: best free plan for small teams
Why it stands out. Zoho CRM is free forever for up to 3 users, with contact management, follow-up reminders, workflow automation, and a mobile app. Zoho lists built-in AI agents: on Professional you can build AI agents that carry out tasks for you and get predictions on which leads will convert, and Enterprise adds Zoho’s AI assistant, Zia. Zoho says there are no contracts; you pay monthly or yearly.
Watch out. Zoho’s pricing page didn’t show paid plan prices when we checked, so confirm the price on Zoho’s site. AI agents start on Professional, not on the free plan.
