The free plan covers 1 user plus your accountant and up to 1,000 invoices a year, as long as your revenue stays under US$50,000. It includes 50 receipt autoscans a month. Standard is from US$15 per organization a month (billing period not stated) for 3 users.
Watch out. The free plan ends once revenue passes US$50,000 a year. Extra users and extra scans cost more.
3. Wave: best free invoicing (no stated AI)
Why it stands out. Wave’s Starter plan is free, with unlimited estimates, invoices, bills, and bookkeeping records, plus a mobile app for invoicing. Pro is US$19 a month billed monthly, or US$190 a year billed annually. It adds bank imports, automatic categorizing, unlimited receipt capture, and late-payment reminders.
Watch out. Wave’s pages don’t describe AI features; it’s here as the simplest free option. Live chat and email support are weekdays only.
